PADI® Rescue Diver

Being a Rescue Diver is about having the knowledge, skills and confidence to better care for yourself as well as other divers, both in and out of the water. The Rescue Diver course will help you to prevent dive emergencies and also prepare you to act in dangerous situations such as a panicked diver. Most divers consider their rescue training as one of the most challenging, but also most rewarding courses they've taken.

How long does it take? & course prerequisites

This is a 2-day course that is divided into 3 parts:

  • Knowledge Development: you will begin by completing the PADI® eLearning from the comfort of your home without wasting time with classroom presentations during your vacation. We will send you your PADI® E-Learning Material ahead of time.

  • Rescue Exercises: afterwards, you will learn the proper technique to handle emergency situations underwater and at the surface, like tired diver, panicked diver and missing diver.

  • Scenarios: Finally, you will put in practice everything that you learned in 2 emergency scenarios.

Remember that one of the pre-requisites for the Rescue Diver Course is some sort of Emergency First and Secondary Care course.
